I hear Kedon Slovis plans to throw passes to some of his former receivers on USC Pro Day on March 24.
This suggests Slovis is recovered from his shoulder injury suffered at the end of the Oregon game in December.
But there could be a risk.
With NFL coaches and scouts from every team expected to be attendance, Slovis will be getting scrutinized a year before he can turn pro. So if he is not completely recovered (as some suspected last season) or if he has a problem with his mechanics (as others suspected), it will get noticed in person by NFL teams.
His stock dropped last season so maybe Slovis wants to show he is back. If that is true, good for him. If not, it’s a risk.
Either way, the NFL coaches will have a lot more than Amon-Ra St. Brown or Tyler Vaughns to watch.
Nobody has ever accused Kedon of not having the brains he was born with so I think it's pretty safe to say he wouldn't be throwing if weren't 100%. What I'd like to know is HOW he bounced back in 3 short months from an injury that hadn't healed 10 months after he got hit in the Iowa game....and bothered him throughout the entire 2020 season..... seeming to be at it's worst in the Oregon game.....
