With COVID-19, it’s been easy to bury how shamefully USC has treated the Trojan Clubs the past 12 months.
Individual clubs were disbanded and members are all supposed to report to the university but few seem satisfied. There seems to be little leadership or organization.
“People don’t realize how horrible the new system is,” said a prominent Trojan Club member. “Nowhere, nobody even knows what's going on. Their publicity sucks and no one uses the new platform they want people to sign up for.
“They got rid of the local clubs and now there's no incentive, no responsibility, no accountability. They are really hurting for volunteers.”
One reader reports the San Diego Trojan won’t even have buses to the Coliseum for home games this season and no local activities.
I can't thank you enough Scott, for putting the light on this! I'm so appreciative. I hope this gets picked up by others. Thank you, again!!!
